Once again, Penny Chenery commissioned acclaimed sculptor Kitty Cantrell and award winning painter Caroline Boydston to produce this landmark piece. With over 70 years of experience between them, Ms. Cantrell is nationally recognized for her meticulous detailed work that captures the essence and movement of her subjects while Ms. Boydston is renowned for her unique painting and patina techniques. Pieces of their work reside throughout the country including the lobbies of the Central Intelligence Agency and the Air Force Academy. Their work in the equine form is as merited as it is valuable with their highly coveted collaborations in great demand throughout the art community. Mrs. Chenery would allow only the finest and most disciplined portrayal of Secretariat to serve for this officially licensed product and it shows in this magnificent piece.
